The Infraglob team is thrilled to share that the book Africa’s Global Infrastructure is now available in open access!

This volume, co-edited by Jana Hönke, Eric Cezne, and Yifan Yang, is the culmination of collaborative research conducted within our project. As a truly global endeavor, it brings together the perspectives and contributions of authors from Africa, Asia, South America, and Europe.

This book offers a bottom-up account of how South-South infrastructure projects are reshaping African politics, societies, and the transnational governance of economic hubs within an increasingly polycentric world order.

While the boom in South-South relations has fueled debates about the developmental impact of these investments, this volume uniquely explores their effects on ground-level political and socio-economic practices in Africa.

The book, published in the African Arguments series by Hurst and Oxford University Press, is now freely accessible to readers worldwide.
